Relational Competence in Organizations

Description
The research team consists of university professors, researchers, master researchers, doctorate students and scholars conducting investigative projects to extend the personal and professional competence of individuals and working groups in organizational processes and applications within the context of their particular environment.
Through qualitative and quantitative investigation, researchers explore the depths of leadership, motivation, climate and diverse processes governing the relationship among individuals and the organizations within which they operate.
In particular, the processes for definining and managing trust and commitment relative to individual objectives. Special attention is placed on analyzing the application spin-off of a five-year exercise in the excellence of the leadership of the Great Symphony Orchestras. Using G.S.O. as a laboratory for the observation and study of the dynamics of membership and leadership of excellence, the team has evolved original application procedures for investigating complex organizations focussed on the analysis and reconstruction of the Member/Leadership Context.
For a number of years , the team has had stable relations with service establishments, businesses, bodies, institutions and non profit making organizations, aimed at cooperation with a view to improving organizational quality and welfare.


Main research themes
1 – Survey of membership/leadership excellence of Great Symphony Orchestras and verification of the dynamic process in contexts of excellence
2 – Analysis of the Member/Leadership Context in basic welcoming/trust phenomena, commitment, grouping and sense making.
3 – Study and applications regarding organizational presence (personal and professional) in service establishments (hospital), in financial institutions (bank), in non profit making organizations (voluntary bodies) and in schools.
4 – Research/action in personal and organizational self efficacy in cooperation with the Institute of Medical science of Turin and with the Ospedale San Giovanni Battista (Molinette)
5 – Study of the processes regarding personal motivation and development of voluntary organizations in cooperation with CESVOL Idea Solidale of Turin
